81-Year-Old Twin Brothers Make Trip to Nicaragua to Help Needy

Two of our most dedicated volunteer doctors have made their 20th trip to Central American this month. Yes, you read it correctly – Dr. Mark Kartchner and his identical twin brother, Max are 81 years old, but you’d never know it.  They have been volunteering with Esperança for several years and neither have plans of slowing down anytime soon.  You can read more about the 81-year-old Tucson doctors – Mark is a surgeon and Max is an anesthesiologist in the Arizona Daily Star.

Join us in congratulating them on achieving such a significant milestone!
