Keeping Life-Saving Medical Supplies Out of the Landfill
Esperança’s Medical Supply Donation program delivers cargo containers carrying your medical donations to under-resourced hospitals, clinics, and community health centers around the world in addition to low-income housing facilities in Arizona, providing uninsured seniors with vital medical supplies. An on-site assessment process ensures that every container delivered will meet the specific needs of the recipient hospital or clinic, equipping the medical staff with life-saving tools to improve diagnosis, treatment, and care.
Please be aware of recent changes to our donation guidelines. All incoming donations will be inspected upon drop-off. We no longer accept the items listed below. If we identify these items in your donation, we will ask you to take them back with you or dispose of them at that moment.
Items we do not accept: clothes, bedding, feeding tube food, saline, liquids, books, toys, medications (prescription or over-the-counter), formula, incomplete, computers, nonfunctioning equipment, or used personal care products.
Did you know? It costs an average of $12,000 to send a 40-ft shipping container abroad.
Medical supply donations are just half the battle! You can help us send hope abroad by sponsoring a box of medical supplies.
