Thankfully, there are healers like Elielka, an auxiliary nurse who lives out of this health post every Monday through Friday. This small, one room structure sees 600 patients per month.
This Giving Tuesday (December 1st) Esperança hopes to support Elielka with $10,000 to add bathroom facilities so that she and her patients no longer have to find private spaces outdoors.
