Today's spotlight is on Thunderbirds Charities!

We're sending a huge thank you to Thunderbirds Charities for their generous support by investing in preventive health education for our youth!

With this grant, Esperança will continue to advance communities by implementing our children's (pre-school - grade 8) oral health education program in under-resourced Latino communities in Maricopa county. These contributions are critical to our goal of building thriving communities!

Bato's future is looking bright!⭐

19 year-old Bato is a sharp and resourceful young man that dedicates his life to supporting his family. As the bread-winner of the family he's struggled to keep up with his education to work diligently to provide for his siblings and ill mother.

Thankfully, your caring gifts to Esperança invested in after-school tutoring for Bato to catch up and graduate on time. Our local partner also pays Bato to learn about pig farming from a livestock expert.

When the sows Bato feeds and cares for give birth, he will receive a pair of pigs, funding, and guidance to start his own business. Bato can now see a future in which he can support his family and continue his education.
