Because life is busy and calendars get full, I wanted to send you a quick note asking you to Save the Date for Esperança’s annual fundraiser, A Night with Esperança, on Thursday, September 15, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Heard Museum in Phoenix.
The program will start with a 1-hour cocktail reception with passed heavy hors devours and drinks. The program will begin promptly at 6:00 PM.
I will be hosting a table and would love for you to join me!

I love Esperança because it is so important for everyone to have equal access to essential health services. Esperança transforms over 50,000 lives each year by providing health, hope, and healing through volunteer-led surgical trips, clean water projects, ecological housing, food security programs and health education.
I’m hosting a table at Esperança’s signature fundraiser, this year it’s revamped for an evening celebration, and I’d really love for you to join me at this event!
The cocktail reception & program will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Heard Museum in Phoenix. It’s a fun event that will connect you with other people in our community who care about improving health for families around the world.
This event ensures Esperança’s sustainability in its programs to deliver vital health services for individuals and their communities. There is no cost to attend, but guests will be asked to make a donation. Gifts can be made in one time or monthly installments. My personal goal is to have 100% of my guests contribute to support Esperança.
I hope you’ll join me in supporting what I believe is an incredibly valuable organization. I don’t know of any other organization that does what Esperança does internationally or locally in Arizona.

Reasons to attend: • This is a great place to network and meet professional leaders from all around Arizona. • Catch up (or learn!) with what is happening at Esperança. We’ll share plans, ideas, and insights on how Esperança is continuing to make our communities in Arizona – to Bolivia, Nicaragua, Peru, Ecuador, Mexico, and Mozambique – a stronger place for all individuals and families. • Free reception and drinks are on us! Sort of – there is no cost to attend but a donation to support Esperança’s programs and services will be requested during the program. This is our main fundraiser for the year! • Esperança has been transforming lives and communities for 52 years internationally, and 22 years in Arizona. • Serving internationally, Esperança is one of its kind located here in the western US. • Esperança for the 8th straight year achieved a 4-star rating from charity watchdog, Charity Navigator. • Esperança board and staff are actively working to increase our impact in our communities, with a focus on equity, partnership, and reaching the most vulnerable families. • Invite friends, old and new, and take the opportunity to catch up or build new relationships. • A Night with Esperança is a worthy excuse to enjoy your evening of “Happy Hour” for a great cause; it’s just once a year! • Breakfast is delicious and there will be plenty of stories about adorable children and their families thriving in life because of YOU!

This is the annual fundraising event for Esperança, and in addition to having a great time, we are attending this event to support Esperança. So please bring your checkbook or credit card and your giving spirit. During the event we will be asked to fill out the giving card and make a donation, so hold off with writing the check until you come to the event!
My personal goal is to have 100% of my guests contribute and I hope you will consider a gift that will help me reach that goal. Gifts can be made in monthly installments, so consider supporting Esperança all year long! If you have a company or employer match for charitable contributions, please bring your company’s matching form with you! That way, a gift of $300 can turn into a $600 or $900 gift!
