Cindy serves as the Health & Wellness Program Director for Esperança where she oversees all Arizona-based preventative health programs. She brings a long history of cultivating positive relationships with community leaders, members and colleagues to the role, and is particularly adept at communicating with clarity and diplomacy to individuals from diverse cultural and organizational backgrounds. Cindy's past experience includes various Community Health Worker positions, serving as the Parent Outreach Coordinator with the Maricopa County Department of Public Health, and most recently as the Community Impact Director with the American Heart Association.

Outside of Esperança, Cindy serves on the Board of Directors for the Phoenix Union Foundation for Education and volunteers with Phoenix Allies for Community Health. In 2022, Cindy was selected for the YWCA Leaders for Change leadership and personal development program.
