As a green belt in Lean Six Sigma, Dawn Marie is passionate about innovation, and is committed to professionalizing government, increasing transparency, and creating an exceptional customer experience.  She currently serves as the chief executive officer for the Maricopa County Assessor's Office.  Her team is responsible for fairly and equitably valuing 1.8 million parcels and accounts for a total 2021 value of $6.5 billion. She has served nearly 30 years in government, including as the Deputy Town Manager for Paradise Valley, Management and Budget Director for Gilbert, and Budget Manager for Chandler. She is a US Air Force veteran, following in the military footsteps of her dad and grandfather. She currently serves on the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) Government Affairs Policy Committee and on the ICMA International Committee, helping to influence good governance at the local level worldwide.

Dawn Marie loves spending time with her family, including her husband and bestie, Kenny, her two amazing sons, Cory and Tyler (who are both now also serving in the US Air Force), three awesome bonus children, Brooke, Grace, and Cody, and beautiful daughter-in-law, Thereza.  But truthfully, her grandson, Brett-William has her wrapped around his little finger.
