Dr. Raymond Sachs began his professional ventures with seven years of service in the United States Navy. He then graduated from Loyola Medical School as an Orthopedic Surgeon and spent his career working for Kaiser Permanente in San Diego. Sachs is now retired and, as of 2019, has lead 15 missions with Esperança, travelling to Bolivia, Nicaragua, Peru and Ecuador, providing free orthopedic care to Latin America’s most underserved.
“I am passionate about delivering health care to those most in need and am devoted to helping Esperança grow and prosper,” he shares.
Sachs’ previous board experience includes serving as Chairman of the Orthopedic Department at Kaiser Permanente and Chairman of the Board of Directors at his synagogue.
