Jennifer Aguirre serves as a Community Health Educator for Esperança. Jennifer graduated from Arizona State University with her B. S. in Exercise Science and Wellness and a Certificate in Spanish for the Professions. She has previous experience working with persons with disabilities of all ages as a Fitness Trainer for the Adaptive Exercise Program of ASU developing inclusive, accepting, and educating exercise programs to further the goal of decreasing the health disparities experienced by underserved communities. As a first-generation immigrant, she has found purpose in giving back to her community by providing preventative health education and resources that can change lives. In her downtime, Jennifer likes to read books, try new foods, and spend quality time with her family and her cat, Stevie.
