Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer Community Health Educators support Esperança’s Phoenix health projects by assisting with nutrition and physical activity programming for underserved children and adults, teaching preventive education workshops at community partner sites and performing community outreach to recruit more participants for nutrition programs.
After each oral health class, Esperança hands out free “smile bags” to the children who participated. These bags consist of toothbrushes, toothpaste, and floss. Sometimes they are the first these kids have ever owned! We need all the help we can get putting together kits for for this jam-packed year of oral health education.
Esperança's Stove to Table program delivers 200 fresh, made from scratch meals to senior residents in subsidized housing facilities around Maricopa County. Put your cooking skills to use and help us prep and package warm meals!
